With the GS4227E, you can use an Access Scheduler to set internet access rules for certain devices.
1. Log into your residential gateway. If you are unsure of how to do this step, please refer to Gigaspire GS4227E: Signing In
2. Click on the Advanced tab from the left menu. Under the Advanced tab, select Scheduling from the drop-down list. Click on Scheduling Access from the Scheduling drop-down list.
3. On the Scheduling Access page, Create a schedule by Device or MAC address. To schedule by device, select the device button, and choose from the drop-down list. To schedule by MAC address, select the MAC Address radio button and manually entering the MAC address.
4. Select the Days of the week you want to allow internet access by putting a checkmark in each box. If you want to allow internet access all days of the week, select the All Days checkbox.
5. Select the Time of day ranges you are want to allow internet service. Please keep in mind the time is listed in military time (Example: 9:00 AM is 09:00, 9:00 PM is 21:00). You can choose now, clear, and close to help edit your timeframes. Once you are done, select the Add button.
6. Check the Devices Access List below. This will confirm the Device Name, MAC Address, Allowed Days, and Allowed Time of the device. To remove the schedule list, select the Remove button. You can schedule more than one device on the list.
