When it comes to limiting access to the internet, Website Blocking provides an option to block specific websites by device or IP address. We recommend blocking services by the device.
1. Log into your residential gateway. If you are unsure of how to do this step, please refer to GigaSpire GS4227E: Signing In
2. Click on the Advanced tab on the left Menu. From the drop-down list, choose Scheduling. From the Scheduling drop-down list, choose Website Blocking.
4. Click on the New button to create a new association. Type in the specific Website Address that you would like to block in the Website Address field. (Note: The website address can be written as "website.com", "www.website.com", or http://www.website.com.
5. Next, choose an option to associate the website with. You can choose All LAN Devices, or a specific device by keeping the Device dial button selected and choosing from the drop-down list. Once done, click on Apply to save the changes.
6. The association will show up on the Website Blocking page. It will show you the Device Name, IP Address, and Website blocked. There is a Remove button, should you choose to remove the entry, and a New button that allows you to add another association.
